Au revoir France, it’s been a wonderful trip but sadly the time has come to point our bow to the north and head home.

We’ve got a stiff force 5 to 6 southwesterly breeze and are charging along at 8 knots with the Monitor windvane steering while the wind turbine keeps the batteries topped up. At this speed we should be back in England in time for dinner – isn’t wind power great!
